JT Grup Oil SA announces the completion of the first stage of construction of the only private terminal for petroleum products in Romania<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\r\n

The value of the investment in the first phase of the project was 15 million euros, of which 11 million euros represented the financing of AA POIM\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/i>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\r\n

JT Grup Oil SA<\/span><\/b>, one of the most important companies in the fuel distribution market, <\/span>announces the completion of the first stage of development of the JT Terminal project<\/span><\/b>, the only private terminal for petroleum products in Romania. With the completion of infrastructure works<\/span> the financing project obtained from non-refundable European funds through the Large Infrastructure Operational Program (POIM) was also closed, through which the company benefited from 11 million euros.\u00a0<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\r\n

With a total investment of 25 million euros, obtained from three sources of financing - equity capital, investment credit granted by UniCredit Bank Romania and financing through the Large Infrastructure Operational Program - upon completion, JT Terminal will be the first private terminal for petroleum products from Romania built in the last 50 years.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\r\n

Located within the Constan\u021ba Nord Port, river-maritime area, <\/span>the terminal will have eight tanks with a total storage capacity of 31,500 tons<\/span><\/b>. Connected by rail and road to the port and national infrastructure, the new multi-modal and fully automated terminal will allow the simultaneous loading and unloading of ships, wagons and tankers, reducing waiting times in the port for loading or unloading fuels.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\r\n

The loading and unloading capacity of the terminal is <\/span>between 700 and a maximum of 1,000 tons per hour for ships<\/span><\/b>, <\/span>between a minimum of 300 and a maximum of 700 tonnes per hour for trains<\/span><\/b> and <\/span>between a minimum of 40 and a maximum of 80 tons per hour for tankers<\/span><\/b>. In addition, the terminal <\/span>can load and unload barges from 3,000 to 9,000 tons, 16 wagons simultaneously, on two parallel railway lines and 20 tankers<\/span><\/b>.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\r\n

In addition, JT Grup Oil SA aims to become a pioneer in creating an efficient and sustainable distribution network by offering innovative solutions that promote strategic partnerships. The company reaffirms its commitment to the environment by using green energy consumption, produced internally by 100 solar panels of 250 kW, mounted on an area of 2,000 square meters. The energy produced by means of photovoltaic panels fully covers the consumption needs for the entire activity of the group. By using green energy, JT Grup Oil SA contributes to reducing the carbon footprint and protecting the environment.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\r\n

"JT Terminal will be the most modern terminal for liquid petroleum products in the Black Sea that offers storage and handling spaces for specific products such as diesel, biodiesel, bitumen and other liquid products with the final aim of distributing them on the domestic or foreign market of fuels. It is a large project, developed in two stages. The first stage, which involves the development of the infrastructure, was completed and, together with it, the financing project obtained from non-reimbursable European funds was also closed. The second stage, which we will carry out between March and December, consists in the development of the superstructure necessary to support the implementation of the project in its entirety. <\/span><\/i>JT Terminal is the first and only Romanian private company that obtained financing on AA POIM<\/span><\/i><\/b>, and the trust granted by the Government of Romania through the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure underlines the value and importance of this project.",<\/span><\/i> Rate <\/span>Jean Paul Tucan, the majority shareholder of JT Grup Oil SA.<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\r\n

Also, <\/span>after 100% will be operational<\/span><\/b> and due to the storage capacities, <\/span>JT Terminal will increase the amount of imported fuels<\/span><\/b>, but also the fuel storage and distribution capacity, <\/span>covering up to one million tons per year of the annual shortfall of two and a half million tons<\/span><\/b>.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\r\n

Currently, JT Grup Oil SA carries out fuel distribution operations in the South-East of Romania with the help of its own fleet of 11 tanks with a capacity of up to 40,000 liters, equipped with pumps and indicators for measuring the delivered quantity. For fuel distribution in the northern part of the country, the company has partnerships with representatives of the business environment, long-term collaborators.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\r\n

Founded in 2001, JT Grup Oil SA is one of the most important companies active in the fuel distribution market and the developer of the first private terminal for petroleum products in Romania in the port of Constan\u021ba. In 2004-2005, he built a bitumen terminal in Medgidia, which he sold shortly after receiving it, and the money obtained from the sale was invested in the development of the fuel distribution network. In 2008, the company began to develop the distribution network and introduced to the market more than 250 tanks equipped with pumps and level indicators. From 2023, JT Grup Oil SA diversified its range of products, and entered the segment of duty-free diesel fuel, which serves commercial vessels for the ports of Midia and Constan\u021ba.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\r\n
